FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: area of application: the invention relates to means (testing machines) and methods for mechanical testing of cables, ropes, cords and material samples for tension. Substance: the machine consists of a loading apparatus intended for deformation of the tested product, a pumping unit ensuring operation of the loading apparatus and the system for control of loading of the tested product and measurement and recording of testing parameters. The loading apparatus includes two frames: a power frame directly deforming the tested product, and a base frame used to install the loading apparatus on the floor and constituting a support for the power frame. The power frame is comprised of: a base, two double-action hydraulic cylinders fixed on the base symmetrically relative to the axis of the power frame, the rods whereof are connected with a crossbar by four nuts, a force sensor attached to the base using a pin, informing about the value of load on the tested product, two grips for fixing the tested products, connected with the crossbar - active, and with the force sensor - passive, respectively, using pins, two wheels connected with the crossbar, whereby the crossbar rests on the pallet of the base frame, a deformation sensor attached to the test product, informing about the value of deformation of the tested product on a preset base, and a displacement sensor informing about the working space area of the loading apparatus. The base frame is comprised of: two channel bars, end bridges, a pallet and bosses constituting a welded structure, as well as vibration supports used to install the loading apparatus on the floor and to level the horizontal position thereof. The pumping unit includes a servo valve controlling the hydraulic cylinders and a pressure compensator maintaining a constant pressure difference on the working edges of the servo valve. The system for control of the installation process of the moving parts of the power frame, the process of loading of the tested product, as well as measurement and recording of test results with feedback lines operates both in manual mode and in automatic mode according to the preset program.
EFFECT: release of stress from a power frame, provided possibility of turning the power frame on axes fixed at the base of the power frame.
