FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to optical connectors. Optical connector contains a lens configured to convert a light signal from the optical transmitting path or from a light source to a light signal with a given angle of divergence and emission of the converted light signal; and a housing to which the lens is attached and which is connected to the connector on the light-receiving side. In this case, the specified angle of divergence is the angle at which the amount of light within a given area at a given distance from the lens does not exceed a specified amount of light, the specified angle of divergence is an angle at which the degree of reduction in the amount of light in the light signal received by the connector on the receiving side, does not exceed the specified amount of light when the housing is connected to the connector on the receiving side within the specified connection tolerance. Lens is configured to convert the light signal into a diverging light signal with a divergence angle of at least 10° and no more than 20°.
EFFECT: technical result – the ability to prevent adverse effects of the light signal on the visual function.
