FIELD: optical communication.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to optical communication devices. Optical connector, cable and optical communication device contains a collimator lens for radiation by converting a light signal from a light transmission path or a light source into collimated light. Body is designed to hold the collimator lens and connect with part of the optical connector, designed to receive a light signal. Lens drive unit is configured to control the collimator lens in such a way that the light signal emitted by the collimator lens, has a specified angle of divergence when the housing is not connected to the receiving part of the optical connector.
EFFECT: technical result – the prevention of the negative impact of visual perception functions.
