FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to experimental pharmacology, and can be used to correct tremor in an experiment. Method includes a single daily intragastric administration to the rats of a corrective agent at a dose of 10 mg/kg for 10 days, and on the last day of the experiment, a single intraperitoneal administration of oxotremorine at a dose of 1.5 mg/kg in a volume of 0.5 ml/kg 30 minutes after the administration of the correcting agent. Drug substance Rapitalam, which is a modulator of mGluR4 receptors, is used as the correcting agent.
EFFECT: invention leads to a pronounced correction of oxotremorine-induced tremor, confirmed by the duration of the latent period and tremor, the overall assessment of the severity of tremor in points and the percentage of animals with tremor in the group, taking into account its duration.
