FIELD: satisfaction of human vital requirements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the accumulation of thermal energy for optimizing the temperature of the human body surface under extreme conditions, reducing the temperature of inhalation in personal respiratory protection devices working on chemically bound oxygen, as well as in radio electronics to protect against overheating, and more particularly to a method for applying coatings to a web of porous material. Method for producing a heat absorbing material by applying a heat absorbing paste onto a fibrous material substrate, by preparing a disperse system, in which the dispersed phase is carbon nanotubes (CNTs), and the dispersed medium is a molten mixture of paraffins, cooling the dispersed system to produce a paste of increased viscosity. New method is the introduction of a polyethylene wax in a heat-absorbing paste in an amount, wt. %, from 5 to 6, as well as applying a heat absorbing paste that is rubbed into the depressions of a non-woven polymeric material backing prior to developing the paste on the underside of the substrate and obtaining a continuous coating on the front side. Use of the proposed method makes it possible to increase the efficiency of cooling the respiratory gas mixture (RGM) by 25–40 °C to create comfortable conditions for breathing.
EFFECT: method simplifies the maintenance of respiratory protection devices and ensures the possibility of their long-term storage in running order.
