FIELD: heating equipment.
SUBSTANCE: heat storage device relates to the field of heat engineering, more specifically to heat storage devices, using the latent heat of phase transitions of the working substance to ensure comfortable breathing conditions when using isolating breathing apparatus on chemically bound oxygen by cooling the inhaled air, as well as to achieve the required thermal regime of energy sources (ES) during their cyclic operation as their protection against short-term effects of external heat fluxes. Heat storage device comprises a housing having one or more cavities filled with a heat storage phase transitional working substance. New is the implementation of the phase transition working substance in the form of hydrophobic granules, containing carbon nanomaterial (CNM) and magnetic dispersed material, enclosed in a sealed film shell filled with a hydrophilic liquid, communicating with a cooled medium. Granules contain a mixture of low melting paraffins from the series C16H36-C20H42 with a melting point of 16.7–36.7 °C, CNM is made in the form of Taunit carbon nanotubes with a metal oxide catalyst.
EFFECT: technical results of the invention are the improvement of mass and size characteristics, maintaining a constant value of enthalpy from cycle to cycle, improving the reliability of the device.
