SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mobile communication. Method for propagating the security key context includes the steps of: receiving, by the mobility management entity (MME), from the primary base station, a first indication used to request the switching of the path from the MME and indicating that the switching of the path is initiated by means of carrier aggregation between the base stations; handle path switching and leave the security key context to switch path unchanged; send the second indication of the primary base station, indicating the primary base station to leave the context of the security key unchanged; or send a third indication to the primary base station, indicating the primary base station to get the number of times that the chaining counter of the next hop is wrapped in the context of the security key.
EFFECT: improving the reliability of switching paths during carrier aggregation between base stations.
