FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structures of floating means, applicable for various purposes. Floating island consists of a set of hollow blocks of spherical shape with a hexagonal belt, rigidly interconnected, forming a large area structure of the required shape. Assembled structure of hollow spherical blocks with a hexagonal belt in the upper part and filled with foam is only the basis for the construction of the main structure of monolithic reinforced concrete in the form of tiers in the form of honeycombs. Overlap of each tier is reinforced starting from the first row of spherical blocks, where the fittings are pulled through pre-prepared holes, tightened and poured with concrete, and in all tiers and partitions there are openings for the passage and installation of the necessary equipment.
EFFECT: increase in strength properties is achieved to withstand heavy loads.
