FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of machine building, in particular to the screw pumps designs, designed for various media pumping in industry. Screw pump includes a cylindrical body (CB), inside which coaxially with it a shaft is located, equipped with the volumetric screw thread (WST). On one side the shaft is fixed to the first support, and on the other side it is connected to the engine through the second support. WST is in contact with the CB smooth working surface and is made external, single-threaded, multi-turn, with the given pitch. From the first support side, the WST has a predetermined number of communicating with the through holes volumetric turns, made in the CB in the predetermined quantity, for the fluid passage from the outside, its further movement along the WST and discharge through the partially cut last turn into the pumped liquid exit chamber. Exit chamber is formed between the shaft end face and its second support. WST is made continuous along the shaft entire working length with solid volumetric turns. Through holes in the CB are located along the WST forming geometric axial line.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increase in the pump performance and allows to increase the screw pump efficiency by its operating characteristics improving while simplifying the production technology.
