SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of exploration work aimed at determining the actual physico-mechanical characteristics of rocks. Device contains a mount and controlled movement of the sample, and a node for measuring the longitudinal and transverse components of the force of destruction during cutting, including a cutter and a two-component force-measuring device. Mount and the controlled movement of the sample further includes a position sensor and a sensor for moving the sample, and a two-component force-measuring device and a displacement speed sensor are connected to a digital signal processing unit including N digital signal processors, the inputs of which are connected to a two-component force-measuring device and a sample speed sensor. Outputs of the signal processors along with the sample position sensor are connected to the N+1 multiplexer inputs, and the multiplexer output is connected to the computer input.

EFFECT: technical result: preservation of the profile of strength at (uniaxial) compression of the sample with high detail, but with providing simultaneously with this and on the same sample additional high-detailed profiles of the elastic modulus and the coefficient of crack resistance, the ability to measure the elastic-strength characteristics of rocks directly at the place of their selection, which provides accurate coordinate reference of the sample to the section.
