SUBSTANCE: invention relates to round-link chain. In the chain, the round links have an elliptical and/or oval configuration, in each of which the distal parts of the links are turned in one direction from 90° and higher around the major axis of the ellipse and/or oval. Herewith the links of the ellipse and/or oval configuration can be made according to the Mobius band scheme with a rotation of 180°. Herewith the links can be made of alloys with a shape memory effect or materials with an alloy deposited with the shape memory effect.

EFFECT: expansion of the functionality of the round-link chain is achieved, giving the last spring-like effect.
