FIELD: image processing means.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image processing. Computerised image processing method for data anonymisation includes: receiving a three-dimensional, 3D, image data set (DS) acquired of an object; segmenting the image data set into an object region (OR) and, complementary thereto, a background region (BR), wherein the background region corresponds to the airspace surrounding the object; applying a randomising operation to image elements in the background region (BR) to thereby transform the 3D image data set into a partly randomised image data set (DSX).
EFFECT: ensuring the protection of 3D image data by converting 3D image data into a partially randomised set.
