FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary microbiology, in particular to the laboratory diagnosis of pathogens of infectious diseases, and in particular to means of diagnosing infection in animals. Test system for detecting the DNA of the causative agent of leptospirosis (Leptospira spp.) in farm animals is described, including a buffer for carrying out the polymerase chain reaction, a mixture for its implementation consisting of deoxynucleoside triphosphates, primers and fluorescent probes specific for the causative agent of leptospirosis Leptospira spp. and for the internal control sample; mixture of enzymes from DNA polymerase with antibodies inhibiting enzyme activity, TAQ POLYMERASE, internal control sample, negative control sample, positive control sample. For the internal control sample, bacteriophage T4 suspension with a concentration of 5×103 copies of nucleotide sequences is used per 1 mcl. For a positive control sample, a mixture of recombinant plasmid DNA containing a fragment of the genome of the causative agent of leptospirosis (Leptospira spp. Lpts) and a fragment of the genome of bacteriophage T4, taken in a volume ratio of 1:1, is used.
EFFECT: reduction of labor costs, time and consumables during the polymerase chain reaction.
