SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hair cutting devices. Stationary blade for a blade set of a hair cutting appliance includes a first and a second wall. Second wall is offset from the first wall with the formation between them of a guide slot, configured for accommodating a movable cutting blade. Stationary blade also comprises a toothed leading edge formed together with the first wall and the second wall. Toothed leading edge includes teeth. First and second walls are connected at the front end of the leading edge with the formation of tips of the teeth. Stationary blade is integrally formed and is made of a metal and plastic composite. First wall of the blade is at least partially made of a metallic material. Second wall of the blade is at least partially made of plastic material. Invention also relates to a blade set of a hair cutting appliance, a method of manufacturing a stationary blade made of a metal and plastic composite, and a method of manufacturing a blade set of a hair cutting appliance.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to improve the quality of hair cutting.
