FIELD: handheld cutting tools.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fixed cutting head of a cutting head of a household hair cutting appliance comprising a movable cutting blade. Fixed knife comprises a first wall section, a second wall section, a leading edge with teeth formed jointly by the first wall section and the second wall section. First section of the wall and the second section of the wall form between themselves a guiding slot designed to receive the movable cutting blade. Teeth have U-shaped cross-section and contain first leg formed by first section of wall, and second leg formed by second section of wall. First section of the wall and the second section of the wall are connected on the end face of the front edge with the teeth, thereby forming the tops of the teeth. Bevel of teeth on longitudinal side view forms gaps between teeth, which are arranged with the possibility of hair placement. Gaps are Y-shaped or funnel-shaped. Skewed section of slotted gaps is connected to second section of wall. Narrow section of slotted gaps is connected with the first section of the wall.

EFFECT: result is reduction of cutting time and expansion of technological capabilities.
