FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely cardiology, and can be used to protect the myocardium from ischemic damage in patients with stable coronary artery disease during routine percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). To do this, nicorandil is injected according to the scheme: 3 times a day, 10 mg for two days before surgery, two hours before surgery in a dose of 20 mg, in the evening, on the day of PCI, in a dose of 10 mg, with continued therapy for one month after PCI in a dose of 30 mg/day.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the likelihood of myocardial damage due to the effect of pharmacological preconditioning.
