SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inhalers of flavored nicotine powder. Said nicotine powder inhaler comprises a housing extending between the mouthpiece region and the distal end portion; an air flow channel extending between the mouthpiece region and the distal end portion; a container for nicotine powder located along the channel of the air flow and containing a dose of nicotine powder containing nicotine salt and a dose of flavoring; and a vortex generator element configured to generate rotational motion in the air flow from the air flow channel, wherein the inhaler is configured to deliver a dose of nicotine powder to the user's lungs via an air stream created by inhalation at the mouthpiece region, with an inhalation rate of less than about 5 L/min.

EFFECT: creating a flavored nicotine powder inhaler that is capable of delivering flavored nicotine powder to a user at an inhalation rate or airflow rate that does not exceed the inhalation rate or airflow rate in a normal smoking mode, which is similar in size and configuration to a regular cigarette and is capable of providing a metered dose of flavored nicotine and, if necessary, simultaneous delivery of a second active ingredient.
