FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sighting devices for firearms. Sighting device of small arms, mounted on the weapon by means of mount (12), comprising a housing in which a display device with sighting grid applied thereto is located, video camera (16), accelerometer-gyroscope (21), range finder (22), angular tuning node (2) with rotation sensor, processor (18), and memory unit (19) connected by a data bus. Additional target selection device (26) is introduced, connected to processor (18) via data bus. Angular tuning node (2) is designed with the possibility of controlling the sighting device relative to the barrel of the weapon. Method of using the sighting device is also proposed, in which the barrel of the weapon is oriented to the angle of departure of the munition. For the implementation of the shot, the target is combined with the mark of the sighting grid corresponding to the pre-calculated trajectory, taking into account the data on the excess of the target, the position of the weapon in space and the distance to the target. In this case, the trajectory is calculated depending on the type of munition selected, the stall angle of the weapon and the data on the angular position of the sighting device relative to the barrel of the weapon.

EFFECT: device and method for use thereof provides improved shooting accuracy.
