SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport and installation equipment, namely to transport and installation units (TIU) of launch complexes for space rocket. TIU contains a transport load-lifting frame-boom, railway carts, upper and lower supports on the frame-boom, mechanism for finishing and joining the frame-boom of the unit with the turntable support of the launch facility, hydraulic drive with power cylinders for lifting the frame-boom in a vertical position, device for lowering the lower ends with the rods of the power cylinders to the supporting-docking units of the launch facility, the device for fixing the cylinders in the horizontal transport position, electrical equipment. Fastening points on the frame-boom of the upper nodes of the hydraulic cylinders for raising the frame-boom to a vertical position are set closer to the turning unit of the frame-boom than the points of connection of the lower nodes of these hydraulic cylinders with the corresponding nodes of the launch structure. Upper support on the frame-boom to hold the rocket is installed using a universal joint.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to reduce the weight and increase the reliability of the TIU.
