FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optoelectronic instrument making and can be used in survey and search optoelectronic systems for laser ranging. Method and device for suppressing optoelectronic means and automated determination of the coordinates of small unmanned aircraft, based on determining the angular values of the location of a small unmanned aircraft in azimuth and elevation relative to the device. In this case, using a device consisting of a control unit and data processing unit, geopositioning unit, a horizontal scanning unit, an optoelectronic device unit, a vertical scanning unit, a laser suppression unit for optoelectronic devices, and a laser rangefinder unit; successively, perform: detection of minimum safe height in sector using laser location; determination of angular coordinates of minimum safe height in sector using laser location; optical-electronic suppression of optical-electronic surveillance equipment installed onboard the minimum safe height in sector; determination of distance to minimum safe height in sector; automatic tracking of minimum safe height in sector.
EFFECT: increasing the likelihood of detecting minimum safe height in sector, disrupting the possibility of using optical reconnaissance with their help, as well as obtaining coordinates to combat them.
