SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a backrest cushion and, in particular, to a backrest cushion module for a vehicle seat assembly. Vehicle seat assembly includes a seat frame defined by the backrest frame and cushion frame. Plurality of separate assembly modules are configured to be connected to the seat frame. Plurality of separate assembly modules includes a backrest cushion module, a rigid backrest module, a seat cushion module and a headrest module. Backrest cushion module and rigid backrest module are functionally connected to each other. Headrest module extends over the top and functionally connects the backrest cushion module to the seat cushion module to surround the seat frame. Seat cushion module is located on the cushion frame in front of the backrest frame. First and second side trim elements extend over the cushion frame, hiding the side parts of the seat cushion module.
EFFECT: increased comfort during operation.
