According to the method of track diagnosis and synchronization of measurement results, a diagnostic complex containing means of inspection and navigation is moved along the track, detect switches, save their labels together with the data of flaw detection in the diagnostic database of the track. Subsequent passes use the detected switches to accurately determine the position of the diagnostic complex, determine the current direction of movement through the switch and comparison with the results of previous measurements.

EFFECT: as a result, the quality of diagnostics of the railway infrastructure is improved, and the acceleration of repair work is achieved.
