FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the production of pile materials, paper. Method for producing flocculated filler particles comprises provision at least two aqueous suspensions, each one contains at least one filler material. First water suspension contains at least one flocculating additive A, which is a cationic polymer. Second water suspension contains at least one flocculating additive B which differs from the flocculating additive A. Flocculating additive B is an anionic polymer. At least one filler material in the first water suspension and the second water suspension differs from each other. Above two water suspensions are combined through their connection with an obtaining a water suspension of flocculated filler particles. Mass ratio of at least one filler material in the first aqueous suspension and the second aqueous suspension is from 1:100 to 100:1.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain self-bonding filler particles that do not require a binder, which improves the binding of fibers in paper and paper coatings and provides balanced mechanical and optical properties of materials.
