SUBSTANCE: invention relates to furniture, namely, to chairs with a transformable furniture frame. Chair contains a back, armrests and a transformable furniture frame, made in the form of a basic box, having the shape of a parallelepiped with sides and an inner zone for placement in the “folded” position located on the head and intermediate sections of the mattress, the head section and the intermediate section with a support installed pivotally relative to each other by means of hinges, and a foot section with a mattress and support, and the head section further comprises an inclined support. Transformable furniture frame is provided with a support bar for transferring the load from the intermediate section to the first side of the box, installed on the intermediate section, and the rods for connecting the intermediate and head sections, located on the sides. Hinges are made in the form of one-piece card loops installed between the foot section, the support and the intermediate section, between the intermediate section and the first side of the parallelepiped, and at the ends of the inclined support of the head section, which are connected respectively with the head section and with the first side of the parallelepiped. In the “unfolded” position, the support between the intermediate and foot sections is located directly in the longitudinal junction of the sections parallel to the support of the foot section and the first lateral side of the parallelepiped.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the manufacturability while at the same time simplifying the design with the possibility of increasing the width of a berth.
