FIELD: furniture industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to furniture production, may be used in production of transformable upholstered furniture items. Transformation facility for upholstered furniture contains fixed frame consisting of horizontal base with front and back walls that fixes support side elements, with armrests. Armrests have possibility to fixedly rotate around horizontal axis to one plane with seat. Transformation facility for upholstered furniture comprises frames of back and seat connected hingedly by lever mechanisms having rollers that are displaced in guides, and levers, which prevent back frame from going out of base dimensions in process of sofa transformation into bed. Frame of additional soft element is installed under seat frame, and both are joined hingedly.
EFFECT: increased functional resources of upholstered furniture; increased comfort and convenience of operation.
