SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to threaded pipes and couplings for such pipes. Threaded connection comprises a first pipe with a nipple part having an external thread, an annular external concave surface and an abutting end on the free end, a second pipe with a socket having an internal thread for engaging with an external thread of the nipple part, an annular inner surface and an abutting end. In this case, the annular concave outer surface includes a sealing surface and a continuation extending from it to the stop end. Annular inner surface has a radially inward sealing surface in contact with the sealing surface of the nipple part, forming a seal located at a distance from the free end of the first pipe, when the thrust ends of the nipple part and the socket are in contact with each other, and this continuation remains extending from this seal to the thrust end of the nipple part.

EFFECT: technical result is the creation of a seal with a point of maximum contact voltage located far enough from the end of the nipple part, while limiting the gap size.
