FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: coupling safety lock to protect internal surface of the coupling of the thread joint for pipes, having internal thread area and collar surface, at that the collar surface is deviated at angle to the direction perpendicular to the pipe axis, has outside thread area entering in thread engagement with at least part of full thread turns of the internal thread area of the coupling and collar surface, that is in close contact with surface of the collar surface of the coupling to form the first area of seal, and the collar surface is inclined at angle to the direction perpendicular to the pipe axis. The safety lock has ring groove on its outside periphery surface near the collar surface, and resilient O-ring in contact with the collar surface of the coupling, and second seal area is formed.

EFFECT: increased reliability of protection of thread lock of the assembly.
