SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, specifically to oncology, and can be used to inhibit the metastasis of cancer cells in a patient in need thereof. To this end, method includes administering to cancer cells a metastasis-inhibiting amount of a dosage form of a peptide selected from a group consisting of sequences SEQ ID NO: 106, 121 and 219, where the N-terminal and/or C-terminal amino acid of the peptide sequence may be chemically modified. Also disclosed is a method of treating cancer.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides for the prevention and treatment of cancer in a patient by inhibiting the metastasis of cancer cells.
