METHOD OF PREPARATION OF MIXTURE FOR PIEZOELECTRIC CERAMIC MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C04B35/495 C04B35/628 C01G33/00

Abstract RU 2681759 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the composition of the mixture, intended for the production of piezoelectric ceramic materials (PECM) for various purposes based on potassium sodium niobates. Initially by mixing aqueous solutions of carbonate K2CO3 and Na2CO3, evaporation and dehydrogenation of the mixture synthesize complex carbonate KNaCO3. In an aqueous solution of the specified carbonate with continuous stirring injected niobium oxide powder Nb2O5 and, if necessary, add the initial components of the alloying additives: water-soluble – in the form of a solution, insoluble – in the form of fine powder. This mixture is evaporated and dehydrated for one hour in a drying oven at 210 °C, receiving the mixture with a high degree of homogeneity. Ratio of the initial components is determined by the specified chemical composition PECM. Achieved in the proposed method, the uniform distribution of the reactant mixture, when the particles of Nb2O5 surrounded by a sufficient amount of carbonate KNaCO3 with an increase in their dispersed state, provides an increase in the reactivity of the reactants and, accordingly, the rate of the synthesis reaction. This allows you to conduct the process with reduced time cycles and without the need to activate and grind the mixture by active contact-mechanical effects on its components.

EFFECT: as a result, the process flow diagram and its hardware component are simplified.
