METHOD OF PREPARING LINEAR OBJECTS PASSING THROUGH THE FOREST MASSIFS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A01G23/02

SUBSTANCE: method relates to the field of preparation of linear objects passing through forests, mainly power lines, oil and gas pipelines with harvesting of woody biomass removed from linear objects. Method includes moving a harvester along a linear object being prepared, cutting and severing woody vegetation in crops with a harvester, collecting and logging woody biomass by a forwarder to the loading platform. Before the harvester starts working, a device for mulching the soil is hung thereon in front of it. When moving a harvester along a linear object being prepared, the soil and pneumo-root wood are mulched to form a mineralized strip. When parked by a harvester using a harvester head, crops are produced and placed on either side of the mineralized strip. Crops from these sides are collected and trilled by a forwarder, after which the mulcher harvester mineralizes the soil on both sides of the previously formed mineralized strip in the mulching mode.

EFFECT: method provides a reduction in labor and financial costs in the preparation of linear objects passing through forests, due to the fact that timber harvesting and the creation of a mineralized strip during the preparation of linear objects are carried out simultaneously by combining the operations of moving the harvester and mulching the soil.
