FIELD: forestry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of timber industry and can be used in production of logging operations on logging sites with low bearing capacity of soils. Proposed method comprises separation of logging site into apiaries, laying of apiary logway along middle of apiary for movement of forwarder and harvester during development of felling area and intermediate logways for movement of harvester. Apiary is divided into five parts so that on the apiary on each side of the logway there are two intermediate logways for movement of the harvester, and the width of the apiary is equal to ten effective outlets of the harvester manipulator. At movement of the harvester along the intermediate logways of the developed apiary removed from the apiary logway, cutting of trees is provided, cleaning them from twigs and laying the obtained whips in the direction of the apiary logway of the developed apiary perpendicularly to it, the butt part towards the apiary logway. During movement of the harvester along the intermediate logways adjoining the apiary logway, it is provided for cutting trees, cleaning them from twigs, crosscutting, as well as crosscutting of whips harvested at movement of the harvester along the intermediate logways remote from the apiary logway, with the laid assortments placement in the direction of the apiary logway of the developed apiary perpendicular to it, that they are in zone, which is available for forwarder operation at its movement on apiary logway. During movement of the harvester along the apiary logway, cutting of trees, their removal from twigs, crosscutting and packing of assortments near the apiary logway with subsequent collection and skidding along the sorters by the forwarder without movement of the forwarder along the intermediate logways are provided.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce the number of logways on the cutting area.
