FIELD: forestry, in particular, special cleaning cuttings.
SUBSTANCE: method involves renewal and reforming of near-mature, mature and over-mature birch and birch-and-aspen forest crops by sighting-shelterwood cutting method over the entire cutting area through continuous tree cutting in technological roads and technological sightings until limit of relative density of its remained part reaches 0.6 to 0.8, which is optimal for natural forest renewal of basic kinds of trees, with technological roads being cut in western direction relative to sides of the world, and technological sightings being cut at an angle of 30-40 deg to technological roads in wood logging direction.
EFFECT: provision for creating optimal environmental conditions for natural birch seedling coppice or artificial regeneration of coniferous kinds of trees following cutting operations.
