SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to method and device for producing a sandwich component. Method includes operations where honeycomb core (1) having multiple webs is lined or encapsulated on both sides with at least one ply of fibrous material (2), which forms cover plies. Pack composed of honeycomb core (1) and fibrous plies (2) is impregnated, wetted or sprayed with matrix (3). Pack is placed in compression moulding tool (4) and, in accordance with the required component geometry, is compressed to form a component and hardens. At least one front side of the component subsequently has a class-A surface applied thereto as RIM layer (5) in a reaction injection moulding (RIM) process. Device for implementing the method includes assemblies and a tool for carrying out operations of the method. Sandwich component is produced by the method according to the invention using the device for implementing the method according to the invention.
EFFECT: technical result achieved by the group of inventions is to eliminate subsequent processing of the front surface of the sandwich component and simplification of device for production thereof.
