SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a split loading funnel, installation for charging a molten glass gob into a blank mold, glass-forming machine, the method for charging a molten glass gob from the drip feed system to the blank mold. Split loading funnel, installation for charging a molten glass gob from the inlet of the funnel to the outlet of the funnel is characterized by the fact that two or more separate segments of the funnel are interconnected by means of mounting blocks. Each of the individual funnel segments includes an upper portion and a lower portion. Upper portions of the individual funnel segments together form an inlet funnel having an inlet plane. Lower portions of the individual segments of the funnel together form the outlet of the funnel, having an output plane. Each of the lower portions of the individual funnel segments has a concave inner guide surface. Concave inner guiding surfaces are positioned relative to each other in such a way that, interacting, they limit the guide passage that runs along the longitudinal axis and ends at the outlet of the funnel. Installation includes a holder of the hopper, which is installed in it rotatable and passes through at least one hole in the housing of the holder. Glass forming machine contains a blank mold, there is a split feed hopper above. Method for charging a molten glass gob from the drip feed system to the blank mold includes the following steps. Ensuring the presence of the funnel holder, in which the detachable hopper is rotatably mounted. Locating a funnel above the mold cavity of the blank mold. Charging a molten glass gob from the deflector into the mold cavity through the passage in the funnel. Deflector has a descent, which includes a base and two side walls extending outward from the base. Moving the funnel from the mold cavity, after a molten glass gob was placed in the mold cavity.

EFFECT: technical result is to ensure the variability of the shape and size of the guide passage of the feed hopper, accurately charging the molten glass gob into the blank mold and reducing the need for lubrication.
