FIELD: glass industry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the production of hollow glass products by blowing. The invention discloses a method for forming a blank mould of a sectional glass moulding machine by means of a double acting bottom gate mechanism for a sectional glass moulding machine. The bottom lock (4) is located in the body (1) and has at least one air channel (8, 8.1) for supplying air into the inner cavity of the blank mould of the glass-forming machine and a switching device (2). The switching device (2) is made in the form of a movable sleeve (2) configured to move out of the body (1) and, when the mechanism is placed on the blank mould of the glass-forming machine, abut against the blank mould with a tight closure of the cavity of the blank mould relative to the environment to bring the bottom lock (4) to the position of installation blowing, in which there is a gap between the bottom lock (4) and the blank mould, so that the at least specified one air channel (8, 8.1) communicates with the cavity of the blank mould, and to be drawn into the body (1) to bring the bottom lock (4) into the anti-blowing position. Said movable sleeve (2) is a cylindrical sleeve, and also comprises at least one sealing ring (6), which ensures tightness of the movable sleeve (2). The bottom lock (4) comprises a central air channel (8) formed as a blind hole, from the bottom of which a plurality of radially divergent air channels (8.1) emanate.

EFFECT: simplification of the design of the bottom lock mechanism and no need for high-precision pressure adjustment.
