FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to agriculture. Proposed stimulating weight gain feed additive, which is a lipid composition, containing in terms of 100 wt%: from 50 to 70 wt% diglyceride, and triglyceride, monoglyceride, free fatty acids, or their mixture in the form of the rest, where diglyceride contains 40 wt% or more of 1,3-diglyceride, however, among the fatty acids that make up diglyceride, fatty acids containing 14 carbon atoms or less are from 70 to 90 wt%, and fatty acids containing 16 carbon atoms or more, range from 10 to 30 wt%, and moreover fatty acids containing 14 carbon atoms or less, range from 60 to 80 wt% relatively to fatty acids connected with the 1st and 3rd positions, among the fatty acids that make up diglyceride. Also proposed food compositions for live-stock animals and methods of growing live-stock animals.
EFFECT: inventions allow to increase the growth and productivity of live-stock animals.
