FIELD: feed for farm animals.
SUBSTANCE: method of increasing the efficiency of production of livestock products for farm animals is proposed. The method involves the oral administration of cellulose butyryl ester with a number average molar mass from 2,000 to 1,000,000 g/mol, additionally containing acetyl groups of the ester.
EFFECT: invention provides a decrease in the feed conversion ratio, an increase in live weight and/or an increase in the average daily weight gain.
