FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions refers to agriculture and fodder production. Feed additive for animals contains a salt of a lactic acid and stearic acid ester and one of the salt types selected from the group consisting of a lactic acid ester salt and palmitic acid, lactic acid and lauric acid ester salt, and mixtures thereof. Salt is a sodium salt, a calcium salt or a potassium salt. Method for reducing the fat content in the fodder by increasing the fat absorption rate present in the fodder includes feeding the animals with said animal feed additive. Method of increasing the farm animals productivity provides for the feeding of animals with said feed additive. Feed composition for animals contains a feed additive for animals and a formulated fodder. Animals can be chosen from pigs, chickens, ducks, quails, geese, pheasants, turkeys, cattle, milking cows, horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, rabbits, or fish, or shrimp for cultivation.
EFFECT: implementation of the group of inventions provides an increase in the assimilation of fat present in the fodder, thus reducing the amount of fat needed in the fodder and increasing productivity.
