Method of protection of computer networks is intended for use in attack detection systems in order to quickly identify and counter unauthorized impacts in computer networks, in particular, in the data network of the “Internet” type, based on the TCP/IP communication protocols family. This is achieved by including the option field in the header of the response TCP message packet and selectively copying the header of an incoming TCP message packet into it the contents, thus achieving realistic imitation of spurious subscribers and communication sessions and low probability of the fact that the offender has detected the use of protection tools and identification of their characteristics.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the realism of the functioning of the simulated IP addresses of the computer network and increasing the effectiveness of protection by eliminating the signs of disguise of the computer network protection tools.
