FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the rack device of the suspension of the vehicle. Rack is designed to be installed between the frame and the steering knuckle of the vehicle. Rack contains a shock absorber, air spring, coil spring. Shock absorber contains a cylindrical body in which an axial rod is telescopically mounted. First free end of the shock absorber is designed for mounting on the frame, and the second end for mounting on the steering knuckle. Pneumatic spring contains a rigid pneumatic cylinder, coaxial with a shock absorber and radially bounding the working chamber. Pneumatic cylinder is fixed relative to the rod of the shock absorber. Piston is mounted in the chamber with the possibility of sliding, fixed on the shock absorber body and rests axially on the axial end of the shock absorber body through which the shock absorber rod passes. Coil spring is coaxial with a shock absorber and is installed in the axial direction between the side fixed with respect to the rod of the shock absorber and the side fixed with respect to the body of the shock absorber.
EFFECT: reduction of the rack dimensions with adjustable stiffness spring is achieved.
