FIELD: package and storage.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an optimized folding bench. Folding stand contains two main side panels located opposite each other, a cross member assembly formed by narrow and elongated rectangular planks of semi-flexible sheet material, and fastening means for holding the crossbars attached to the corresponding side of the side panel. Planes of the crossbars are located at a given distance from each other, so that they form a hinged rhombus, which can be closed diagonally from the unfolded position to the folded position. Further, the stand has at least one shelf element located between two side panels and lying flat on crossbars located at the same height, with the formation of a shelf assembly.
EFFECT: invention aims to simplify the design while maintaining the functional and strength indicators.
