FIELD: advertising and exhibition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a stand with its deployment system, wherein the stand is preferably a foldable structure made of a semi-flexible sheet material, in particular, column-type, cylinder, prism, cone, pyramid, cube and the like, usually made of thick cardboard, thin cardboard or the like, for the purpose of exposing the advertising message. Advertising stand comprises at least two panels (3, 4) made of sheet material having side projecting portions (3a, 3b, 4a, 4b) connected to them on the hinge fold lines made in panels (3, 4), and a deployment system for transferring stand (2) from the folded position to a deployed working position containing not less than one retractable elastic band (1). Stand (2) further comprises hooks or hooking elements for connecting the side protruding sections (3a, 3b, 4a, 4b) to the deployment system. In stand (2) there are no additional restricting devices that determine the termination of movement when elastic band (1) is shortened, whereby the end of the movement when elastic band (1) is shortened is determined by the reduction in the pulling force of said band (1) during the shortening process.
