FIELD: computer equipment.

SUBSTANCE: discloses an information processing apparatus for performing an installation for implementing encrypted communication, comprising: first processing means for performing an installation; on the information processing device, for implementing encrypted communication based on the device management service defined in the ONVIF standard, in response to a command based on the device management service; second processing means for performing installation, on an information processing apparatus, for implementing encrypted communication based on an enhanced security service defined in the ONVIF standard, in response to a command based on the extended security service; and a transmission means, wherein the second processing means automatically performs at least a part of said installation for the enhanced security service in accordance with said setting of the device management service, if this setting is performed by the first processing facility for the device management service, and wherein the transmission means transmits to the external device information indicating that the setting for the enhanced security service is made in accordance with the setting of the device control service, if the command based on the enhanced security service is received from this external device after the second processing means have completed at least a part of the said installation for the extended security service in accordance with the said installation of the device management service.

EFFECT: technical result is to reduce operational overhead and time loss when multiple client devices perform security settings on an information processing device using different protocols.
