SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the ship building, in particular, to equipment for the vessels movement performance with the help of muscular force, and can be used for sport rowing. Paddle comprising blade and spindle with handle at the upper part. Blade is made with possibility of rotation relative to the spindle due to their hinged joint. Hinge axis is oriented perpendicular to the spindle. Hinge is located on the blade working surface side and its axis is oriented parallel to the blade. Hinged connection is configured to automatically change the value of the angle between the spindle and the blade depending on the load on the blade value, for which their connected ends are equipped with stops, located on the blade non-working surface side. Blade stopper is equipped with through hole, in addition, in the gap between stoppers the elastically deformable element and limiting element is installed, which is passed through the blade stopper through hole with possibility of movement in its cavity and is equipped with the limiter, wherein the limiting element one end is fixed on the spindle stopper.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the rowing efficiency.
