FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electromagnetic well logging. In particular, the proposed antenna unit containing a reel, configured to accommodate around the outer surface of the mandrel to secure the tool and having an outer surface of the reel. Coil is wound around the outer surface of the reel, and the coil extends longitudinally along at least a portion of the outer surface of the reel. Inner sleeve is located between the reel and the mandrel for fastening the tool, and there are many ferrites located between the mandrel for fastening the tool and the coil.

EFFECT: proposed invention provides a circuit with a large effective distance of the magnetic permeability for the magnetic field and shielding the coil windings from the weighted drill pipe coupling, protecting it from losses associated with it.
