SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for processing biomass and a system for processing biomass. Said system comprises a combined heat and power plant, an interface for feeding biogas to a traffic fuel production unit, interfaces for supplying hot water and vapor to a central heating system and supplying electricity to an electrical grid, a hydrolysis device, a digestion device, a dryer and a heat recovery unit, which are operatively coupled for transferring heat, intermediate products and final products of the process. Said method for processing biomass includes the steps of receiving biomass into the hydrolysis device, feeding biomass processed in the hydrolysis device into the digestion device, feeding biogas from the digestion device to the unit for traffic fuel production, drying the biomass processed in the digestion device, recovering heat from the hydrolysis device and dryer; using regenerated heat for preheating the original biomass and central heating; to obtain dried biomass as a fuel for generating electricity.
EFFECT: production of motor fuel, heat and electricity from renewable biomass is ensured.
