SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stands for the study of cyclic adsorptive processes, in particular for the study of heat and mass-exchanging processes of short-cycle adsorption without heat. Hardware-software complex for the study of cyclic adsorptive processes for cleaning and separating gas mixtures includes a compressor, a gas cylinder, a dryer, a receiver, a pressure regulator, a flow regulator, solenoid valves, sensors for measuring operating parameters, adsorbers. In the hardware-software complex, four adsorbers are installed with the possibility of adjusting the height of an adsorbent layer by installing upper covers to a predetermined depth. Simultaneous operation of from one to four adsorbers is possible by controlling the electromagnetic valves using a programmable logic controller of a hardware part of the complex connected to a personal computer. Regulation takes place according to a program set by a software control unit. Sensors for measuring operating parameters are connected to a sensor controller, which is connected to the personal computer.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of imitation of the gas separation process using the technology of short-cycle adsorption without heat and an automated calculation of the coefficients of a mathematical model of the hardware part of the complex are provided.
