FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to binder compositions, particularly polyurethane gels, and is intended for use in hydroacoustic systems. Composition can also be used in radio electronics and electrical engineering. Polyurethane gel is obtained by reacting a hydroxyl-containing oligomer with an isocyanate-containing prepolymer, synthesized based on the same hydroxyl-containing oligomer and 2,4-toluene diisocyanate in molar ratio of hydroxyl groups of oligomer and isocyanate groups of diisocyanate 1:2.05 in presence of 0.03 wt. % of catalyst and plasticiser. Weight ratio of hydroxyl-containing oligomer: isocyanate-containing prepolymer is selected in range of 1.4–1.7:1. Hydroxyl-containing oligomer used is a bifunctional polyoxy group on a hydroxyl group, trifunctional polyesters of a hydroxyl group, bifunctional by hydroxyl group polyesters, bifunctional by hydroxyl group or with functionality more than 2 oligodiene. Molecular weight of the hydroxyl-containing oligomers used varies within 3000–5000 Da; the amount of the plasticiser varies within range of 10–20 wt. %.
EFFECT: technical result is providing gel with reduced mechanical (dynamic) losses compared to polyurethane gel-prototype while maintaining its remaining properties.
