SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a coating, such as a floor coating, a wall coating or a ceiling coating, wherein the coating comprises a surface layer and a substrate attached to said surface layer, wherein said substrate optionally contains one or more reinforced thermoplastic layers. Said coating also comprises a support layer on the lower side of said substrate, opposite to said surface layer, and a textile layer attached to the lower side of said support layer, optionally by means of a contact layer. Coating also contains a coating layer applied on the lower side of said textile layer, wherein said coating layer penetrates at least 50 % of the thickness of the textile layer. Invention also discloses a method of producing a coating, such as a floor covering, a wall coating or a ceiling coating.

EFFECT: penetration of coating layer into textile layer by at least 50 % of its thickness secures textile layer material and provides for production of floor coating, which has sufficient rigidity and hardness and at the same time preserves required flexibility for possibility of connection of coating to surfaces, such as floor, wall, ceiling.
