FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to floor coverings and concerns PVC-based flooring. Coating comprises successive layers: a. first layer of PVC; b. a layer of a first PVC-impregnated textile product; c. second layer of PVC; d. a layer of a second PVC-impregnated textile product; e. decorative layer comprising a polymer layer; f. wearing layer containing transparent polymer layer; wherein the first PVC layer has a thickness of more than 2.0 mm, consists of foamed PVC, wherein the foamed PVC has cavities, as a result of which the density is reduced by at least 10 % with respect to the weight of an equal volume of the thermoplastic material without cavities, and wherein the first layer of PVC provides the underside of the floor covering.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain an improved PVC-based floor covering.
